“A Burger King restaurant near downtown Buffalo will get a whopper of a facelift.
Syracuse-based Carrols Corp. is preparing to change the look of its longtime franchise location at 1358 Main St., near the intersection with West Utica Street.
The company plans to renovate the facade of the 3,105-square-foot restaurant with new siding and window treatments, but will also convert the current entry vestibule into bathrooms and relocate the entrance. The $300,000 project will widen the drive-thru lane, widen the sidewalk on the other side for better handicapped access and create new landscaping around the front of the building.
‘While we’re at it, we’re trying to make it work a little better,’ said attorney Marc Romanowski, who is representing Carrols.”
